Bouquets and Bibs

My husband brought me these flowers to celebrate our good news.  He handed them to me saying, “Roses for beauty and lilies for life.”  Poetic, isn’t he?

My Aunt Judy, who has faithfully prayed for us for years and sent me many encouraging notes, sent our very first baby gift (she’s fast!).

Can I just tell you what a blessing it was to tell my kids that God answered our prayers and has given you a baby? We’ve been praying for you at night with them for awhile…not sure what all they understand, but it was so exciting to say, “Guess what God did??” Another reason to take joy in praying for one another…passing it on to the next generation and including them in the process of lifting one another up…even at their young ages. It blessed me so.

And Aaron is wonderful. But you know that. 🙂
